Beaded Diamond-Shaped Ring Pattern

Step 1

Step 1 : Okay we have crossed the blue bead. Now take the end of the fishing line depicted by the black arrow and take it through the bead that is marked with the pink dot (both in this picture and in the previous one to help orient you).

Step 2

Step 2 : I'm so nice again! I'm showing you what the pattern should look like after passing the end of the fishing line marked by the black arrow through the white bugle bead labelled with a pink dot.

Step 3

Step 3 : Okay, surprisingly, I didn't show you a picture of adding the two new short red bugle beads. But actually it should be evident from looking at which of the red beads was crossed. They were NOT added to the end of the fishing line depicted by a black arrow because you can see that this end is only going through one of the two newly added beads (the "crossed" one). On the other hand, the end of the fishing line depicted by a red arrow goes through both of the newly added red bugle beads. So what I'm saying is, add 2 new red bugle beads to the end of the fishing line coming out of the white bugle bead marked by a BLUE dot. Cross the red bugle bead marked by a white dot.

Step 4

Step 4 : Okay I was a big meanie again and skipped a few steps. Try to follow the picture. Basically, add 3 new red bugle beads to the end of the fishing line depicted by the black arrow and cross the last one with the other end of the fishing line (marked by the red arrow). The direction of adding the beads is from the outside of the pattern inwards. After crossing, go through the white bugle bead marked by a turquoise dot (also marked in the previous picture for clarity) with the end of the fishing line depicted by the black arrow, and then add one new white bugle bead followed by one new red now (marked with a green dot - the one you will next cross).

Step 5

Step 5 : Okay really sorry about the small picture size here. I don't know what I was thinking! So basically get your spectacles on and you will see that quite simply after crossing the red bugle bead last added (marked with a green dot), add 3 more red bugle beads to the end of the fishing line depicted by a red arrow. The last one added is marked by a yellow dot and it will be the one to cross.
