Step 1

Step 1 : Phew it looks a little big better now. So just for fun I re-layed out my central seed beads to make sure that's the pattern I wanted.

Step 2

Step 2 : So now we start the inner beads. Pass one of the two ends of the fishing line through the first white bugle bead marked by a red dot, then add an amber-coloured small seed bead, then pass the fishing line through the second white bugle bead marked by a red dot. Now notice that the end of fishing line I chose to use goes into the third row of the inner rows. If I had used the other end of the fishing line to go in, I would have been filling in the middle row of the inner part. You can do that too, but it's more efficient to start at the last row and work your way down rather than start in the middle and then have to go up and then all the way back down. So because you are doing to top row, add 2 more amber seed beads the same way we just added this one.

Step 3

Step 3 : Now here it is important to note that after the last amber seed bead is added, keep going straight to the end with the fishing line! Don't cut the corner (i.e. DON'T go through the red bugle bead I labelled with a white X). That shortcut would cause the bead to turn rather than stay straight and the ring wouldn't look as nice. So go through the white bugle bead labelled with a blue dot.

Step 4

Step 4 : Now this picture shows you that you must go through the peripheral beads to get back to the middle row of the central area. Go through the blue-dotted white bugle bead, then the outer one, then the inner one marked by a pink dot. Again, avoid the red bugle bead marked with a white X although it looks like a tempting shortcut.

Step 5

Step 5 : Now continue adding an amber seed bead, followed by a blue one for the very centre of the ring, then another amber seed bead, then go through the periphery as before (the white bugle beads marked with green dots). Then come back in to fill in the very bottom row with 3 amber seed beads.
