Beaded Tiny Hearts Hair Comb Pattern

Step 1

Step 1 : Nearly there! Add 1 O-bead to your red thread and cross your black thread through it (44).

Step 2

Step 2 : Now pass your red thread through bead 45.

Step 3

Step 3 : Add 1 O-bead to your black thread (46) and cross your red thread through it. Continue to pass your red thread through bead 41.

Step 4

Step 4 : Here, just pass your black thread through bead 47.

Step 5

Step 5 : Add 1 T-bead to your black thread (48) and cross your red thread through it.
Now, this next bit is not shown in the pictures but you need to do it before you can tie off. Take your black thread and (keep referring to the diagram) thread it through the O-bead to the right of bead 41 (the tip of the black arrow is touching it). Continue to pass the black thread down through the bead below it and slightly to the right (this is also an O-bead). Finally, pass the black thread through the T-bead which is to the left and slightly down from the previous bead (next to the head of the red arrow). Basically you have gone round in a circle (a 4-bead circle) and your threads should now meet.

I think it just "looked" that way. Allegra may not have mentioned just to pass the thread back through the last circle of beads, before tying off. You'll just see 3 other beads that you will need to go through. Also the "filled-in" heart is exactly the same pattern, just with different colours.

hi this is really cool and i came to this page (11/12) and i was gonna do the steps before i "tie it off" and i realized that half the back wasn't there! i followed all the steps and didn't skip any pages so i wanna know how this happened!!! if im not clear sry, but idk how else to explain it.
