Step 41

Step 41:This step is fairly simple. You see how there are two yellow beads next to each other? Well, take the end of the fishing line depicted by the black arrow and string it through the second yellow bead (marked by a blue X). This is not the same yellow bead that you first used to add beads to in the previous step. It's the one next to it.

Step 42

Step 42:Here we are finishing up the rest of the cat's chest. I chose to include a random pink bead as a spot, but you don't have to. So on the end of the fishing line depicted by the red arrow, add in sequence 1 orange bead, then 1 pink bead. Both are marked with purple dots. With the other end of the fishing line (black arrow), cross the pink bead (or the last bead added if you didn't use pink). It's very important that you follow which end of the fishing line was used for which process because otherwise you will be oriented in the wrong direction. Make sure it's the pink bead you are crossing and not the orange one. Basically, if you are in doubt, carefully examine the image.

Step 43

Step 43:In this image, we are looking at the side of the cat's head. So, as the picture states, rotate the cat model by 90 degrees until you see what is shown in the picture. We are now doing the side of the cat's body. So those two yellow beads you see are not the same two yellow beads you saw in the previous image. The one marked with the blue X is the same. But the one marked with the green X is actually the one that is behind the two yellow beads from the previous image (Remember that there were 4 yellow beads, two in front and two behind). So basically, now take the end of the fishing line depicted by the red arrow and string it through the yellow bead marked with a green X.

Step 44

Step 44:Now don't freak out. This is the same exact view as the previous picture. Notice the two yellow beads (one with blue X, one with green X) and the pink bead with purple dot. What is new are the 3 pink beads marked in red. Add all 3 new pink beads to the end of the fishing depicted by the black arrow (this is important, not the other end of the fishing line). Then cross the last bead added (marked by a red X) with the other end of the fishing line (red arrow). Examine the picture carefully to be sure (especially the arrows).

Step 45

Step 45:Again, this picture may appear different, but it's the same angle as before. Notice that new circle of pink beads you just made by crossing the pink bead with a red X on it? Well, all that is added in this picture is those 3 new orange beads marked in black. Basically, add 3 new orange beads to the end of the fishing line depicted by a black arrow, and then cross the last bead added (marked with a black X) with the other end of the fishing line (which is depicted by a red arrow). This new circle of 4 beads that you have just created is the kitty's back!

if your kittys face is loose, try pulling the string together at the crosses and if you have to,tie at every cross to secure it in place.

 Jax on January 20, 2009:
When I go through the wrong bead, I use a needle to poke in under the line and most of the time, I can wiggle it out enough to get a grip so I can pull it all the way through. It helps to wiggle the end coming out of the bead when I am first starting so I make sure I get the right line.
