Welcome to the beaded diamond-shaped ring pattern instructions! If you have any difficulty following this tutorial, please post a comment at the bottom of the page on which you are stuck, and I'll do my best to help!

Step 41:Here I show you how it should look after you pull the end of the fishing line tight after crossing the existing green seed bead on the opposite end of the base of your ring. Now your two corner green seed beads should be connected to each other via the back of the ring. Notice that I've labelled this green seed bead with a yellow dot, and I'll be labelling the green seed bead on the opposite corner of the base of the ring with a pink dot, just so you know which one I'm dealing with (because they are symmetrical).

Step 42:Okay, officially we are done the ring! Unofficially, it is not nearly secure enough. First of all, we have yet to tie the knot to finish it off. Before we do so, we will take the two ends of the fishing line back up the other way across the base back to the other corner of the base (where we started making the back of the ring). I am doing this for two reasons. One, for security. Two, because the bugle beads on the back might irritate your finger if their ends are too exposed, so pulling the fishing line back through them will pull them closer together and close their ends in on each other. Hopefully you'll notice I didn't cross the green seed beads along the way. Just go straight up from bugle bead to bugle bead all the way along in a straight line. This will force the bugle beads to stay straight.

Step 43:Here's an overall view to show you to go all the way up and not cross any green seed beads along the way. Notice that the white bugle beads are much straighter than before.

Step 44:Now that we have reached the other corner again (the green seed bead labelled with a pink dot), we can tie a knot. Now DON'T cross the pink-dotted green seed bead! Instead pass one of the two ends of the fishing line through it and NOT the other end (either end is fine). Now the two ends of fishing line should be right next to each other, as you can see in the picture. Now you may tie them together with a knot. In fact, I would tie several knots to make sure it's secure.

Step 45:Now try on your ring again! (just to make sure it's the right size before it's too late to go back and add more length or remove length. Make sure it's neither too painful or impossible to slip on, nor so loose it moves. It should ideally be "snug". Slightly uncomfortable is okay ... your finger will very soon adapt because the ring is pliable, not rigid. But very painful is obviously bad, so add more beads in that case!
